**I’d recommend Plausible Analytics** for a small Shopify store. It has a clean, simple dashboard and supports Shopify tracking, including add-to-cart, checkout, purchases, and revenue. It’s designed not to use cookies or collect personal data. ([plausible.io](https://plausible.io/docs?utm_source=openai)) One caveat: Shopify’s checkout tracking uses a **custom pixel**, so setup takes a little more than adding a script to your theme. Shopify’s privacy settings can also limit that pixel based on customer consent—so “cookie-free” doesn’t automatically mean you can ignore consent or other privacy obligations. ([ingest.plausible.io](https://ingest.plausible.io/docs/shopify-integration?utm_source=openai)) For basic sales and store-performance reports, start with Shopify’s built-in analytics; add Plausible if you also want a straightforward view of traffic sources and visitor behavior. ([shopify.com](https://www.shopify.com/analytics?utm_source=openai))
